Data Octopus Sp. z o.o. is implementing project No. FENG.02.28-IP.02-0013/23 “Unicorn Hub Startup Booster”, EU funding for the project: co-financed by European Funds for Modern Economy under the Priority Environment for Innovation, Measure FENG.2.28 Startup Booster Poland.
The project will implement an acceleration program, lasting from 01.05.2025 to 30.08.2025, based on the Individual Acceleration Program (IPA). Activities conducted by the Accelerator for Data Octopus include:
- Tangible implementation of the pilot project
- Networking
- Finalization of the acceleration
- Access to workshops and meetings (including “Demo Day”/CASE STUDY DAY)
- Financial support in the form of a grant for the development of the business venture. This grant can be used, among other things, for salaries of startup employees, purchase of services necessary for the implementation of Milestones, purchase of tangible and intangible assets, information and promotion costs.
- Care of the Acceleration Officer, coordinating the acceleration process. Post-acceleration support, lasting 2 months, is provided after the completion of acceleration.
The program is aimed at Startups, understood as grantees, which are micro or small entrepreneurs meeting certain conditions (including unlisted, operating up to 5 years from registration, not created as a result of a merger, not in distress). The startup must have a registered business in Poland in the form of a capital company. They benefit from professional activities and financial support. The Program also includes Business Partners (Technology Recipients, VC Investors) who work with startups and can implement the startup’s solution or make investments.
The main objective of the Program is to strive for commercialization of application projects submitted by Startups and their validation in cooperation with Technology Recipients or VC Investors. The purpose of acceleration is to develop the startup’s product to enable pilot implementation of the solution at a Technology Recipient and/or to raise capital from an Investor (VC) and/or to prepare the startup for overseas expansion (“Go Global”). Post-acceleration is designed to maximize the results achieved.
The project is divided into 3 milestones (MC)12, the achievement of which is essential for the progress of the IPA and marks the completion of the acceleration phase. Achievement of the deliverables envisioned in the Schedule of Individual Acceleration Plan (HIPA) is a condition for disbursement of subsequent grant tranches. The expected results are product/service development, potential pilot implementation, raising capital from VCs, preparation for overseas expansion and ultimately commercialization.
Under the Agreement, Startup Data Octopus has been awarded a grant in the form of de minimis aid in the amount of PLN 175,010.00. This amount is intended for the implementation of services covered by the grant is used to finance the necessary development costs.
The grant in the amount of PLN 175,010.00 represents the support provided for the implementation of the Project, which is co-financed by the European Funds.
