1.1

Data Octopus Sp. z o.o. carries out project no. FENG.02.28-IP.02-0013/23 “Unicorn Hub Startup Booster”. EU co-financing: co-financed by the European Funds for a Modern Economy under the Priority “Environment conducive to innovation”, Measure FENG.2.28 Startup Booster Poland.

2.Acceleration programme

2.1

The project includes an acceleration programme running from 1 May 2025 to 30 August 2025, based on an Individual Acceleration Programme (IPA). The Accelerator's activities for Data Octopus include:

  • Substantive delivery of a pilot project
  • Networking
  • Completion of the acceleration
  • Access to workshops and meetings (including “Demo Day”/CASE STUDY DAY)
  • Financial support in the form of a grant for business development. The grant may cover, among others, startup staff salaries, services needed to reach the Milestones, fixed and intangible assets, and information and promotion costs.
  • Support from an Acceleration Officer coordinating the process. After the acceleration, a 2-month Post-acceleration support phase is planned.

3.Who the programme is for

3.1

The programme is aimed at Startups (grantees) that are micro or small enterprises meeting specific conditions (e.g. not listed on a stock exchange, operating up to 5 years since registration, not formed through a merger, not in financial difficulty). The Startup must be registered in Poland as a capital company. Business Partners (Technology Recipients, VC Investors) also take part, working with startups and potentially deploying their solutions or investing.

4.Programme goal

4.1

The main goal of the Programme is to commercialise the application projects submitted by Startups and validate them with Technology Recipients or VC Investors. Acceleration aims to develop the startup's product to enable a pilot deployment with a Technology Recipient and/or raise capital from a VC Investor and/or prepare the startup for international expansion (“Go Global”). Post-acceleration aims to maximise the results achieved.

5.Milestones

5.1

The project is divided into 3 milestones, whose completion is required for IPA progress and marks the end of the acceleration stage. Achieving the results set out in the Individual Acceleration Plan Schedule (HIPA) is a condition for payment of subsequent grant tranches. Expected outcomes are product/service development, a potential pilot deployment, VC funding, preparation for international expansion and, ultimately, commercialisation.

6.Grant amount
